Users of 2019 LG TVs May Now Use The Apple TV App

The company updated the software for LG TVs last year to integrate HomeKit and Airplay 2. The company recently revealed the addition of an Apple TV app with full features, including video clips from iTunes and full access to the Apple TV+ service. The app is now available for 2019 OLED TVs and high-end LCD TVs, and additional particular LCD series (UM7X & UM6X) will be expected within this month.

Users no longer need to purchase an Apple TV device or utilise Airplay to enjoy Apple’s selection of films and many programmes in Dolby Vision HDR. The software was available to Samsung Smart TV customers last year, and this year it will be available on far bigger displays. After their official release in 2020, LG TVs will include the app, and those who currently own 2018 models will receive it this year as part of a software upgrade.
