Snapchat is now on Microsoft Store as PWA

The most common mobile devices used to access Snapchat are Android and iPhones. For users of Windows 11 and Windows 10, the Snapchat app is now accessible as a Progressive Web App on the Microsoft Store search page.

The Snapchat app in the Microsoft Store is 1.4 MB in size and operates on Microsoft’s Chromium-based Edge browser. For Snapchat Plus subscribers alone, the business introduced the Snapchat online version app in July 2022 in the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. It has now been made available to all users globally.

The Snapchat PWA will have the same function as the web version. On this particular version, you cannot alter the account settings. You must utilise the mobile version in order to change your account settings. This little PWA app is available for free download from the Microsoft Store.

You may add the Snapchat PWA to the Start menu or taskbar and enable alerts much like other Windows applications.

Additionally, the social networking platform introduces a brand-new function called Custom Story Expiration. It enables premium customers to edit their stories and choose when they should expire. They have the option to have their Snaps expire after an hour or a week.
